About Me

Hi! My name is Rebecka and I am the creator behind Rebeckas Ateljé.

I have been knitting and crocheting since my teens, and creativity has followed me throughout my life. For me, it has always been a way to express myself – to give form to feelings, thoughts, and ideas that are otherwise difficult to put into words. Over the years, I have worked with many different creative expressions, such as jewelry making, painting, drawing, photography, and sewing – and today, all of that comes together in my creations.

In early 2026, I started dyeing my own yarn, and it quickly became a natural extension of my creativity. I am inspired by everything around me – nature, the seasons, colors, emotions, and art I encounter in everyday life. Therefore, no two skeins look exactly alike, and each dyeing carries its own feeling and expression.

In my studio, I also create project bags and accessories for knitting and crocheting – all with the same idea: that they should be both beautiful, personal, and useful.

What makes my products special is that they are often available in very limited editions. Many of my yarn dyeings consist of only a few skeins, and some products are completely unique. When you shop with me, you get something that not many others have – sometimes something that exists only in a single copy.

When I create, I put time, care, and a large part of myself into each product. My hope is that you, as a customer, will feel that – and that you will enjoy what you buy at least as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
